We join young Juliette Caldwell, her family and friends as they start the second story arc for our Near Future series.

Juliette and her team are about to start at the Space Tech Explorer Academy where they intend to become the best of the best of the Explorers. Needless to say, not everyone is on board with their plans. Along the way, they're going to find new members for their team and a mission that will take everything they have to complete, no matter the consequences.

This series is intended to be a light and fun read, and I hope this book continues that tradition. Yet life is not without conflict, and as usual our characters must overcome obstacles and face the emotions such conflicts generate. We also get to meet new characters, some good and some bad, and some that will stay with us while others will only pass us by.

If that's not bad enough, they have to undertake a seemingly impossible mission to recover missing parts stolen by the group of rebels that have fled to yet another world. Of course, they’re going to be many obstacles in their way, and their journeys will take them places they could never have imagined.

Our young friends from the Near Future have just received another urgent call for help from their friends from the Far, Far Future. The rebels from the future have somehow stolen the prototype temporal ship and intend to attack Earth. Their future friends are on their way to help, but the task still seems daunting.

It appears fated that the Near Future team must play an important part in stopping the rebels. How can they possibly do so? Will they even be able to survive?

In Part II of the Far Future series the next generation of young people, Crown Princess Jarna and her small team of family and friends, must take their place in the struggle for the existence of the Galactic Empire. Time is running out as they learn their alien enemy is preparing to attack even as the Galactic Empire is at its weakest with the cruel but ineffective Regent still firmly in control. They must find a way to develop new technologies in time to defeat their enemies, while keeping everything secret from an evil Regent they're not yet ready to challenge!

Once more the Galactic Empire is in grave danger!

Crown Princess Jarna and her team are about to receive a new mission — a mission that is going to be challenging enough. But they learn the Regent is trying to force their hand, and they have to find a way to get Max to an off-site ceremony if he is going to claim his position as Emperor.

The Regent is going to do everything he can to prevent Max from taking the throne of the Empire from him, no matter what it takes. It’s not like Max wants the job, but he can’t let the Regent remain in control. To make things worse, the evil that has permeated the alien Aerstone race has begun to grow stronger once more and a devastating attack appears imminent. Our young heroes are going to have to dance a fine line if the Empire is to survive.

Once more the Galactic Empire is in grave danger! It may well come down to a final battle, a battle that our human friends cannot win.

Crown Princess Jarna and her team have come to realize that the need to reconcile the Aerstone people to the other peoples in the galaxy is their primary purpose. Despite their desire for this reconciliation, it doesn't look good. Warned by a nightmare that may well be a vision of the future, our young Defenders of the Rim must make a desperate voyage into enemy territory looking for clues on how to stop a plot by the Aerstone Dark Priests.

Despite every effort of their team, they appear destined to fight that final battle. Will they find a way through, or is the galaxy destined to become a very dark place?
